William Kevin Montgomery, 59, of Stanford, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 10th, 2026.Kevin was born on October 4th, 1966, in Boyle County, Kentucky and attended Lincoln County High School. For 38 years, he worked at RR Donnelly in Danville, Kentucky where he made many lifelong friends. More recently, he worked at Kimball International of Danville.

Those who knew Kevin will remember his big personality, sense of humor, and kind heart. He always made sure to go out of his way to check on his friends and take care of his loved ones. He enjoyed watching and playing sports and spending time with his friends and family. Kevin’s legacy of cheering loud and proud for his passions will continue in the lives of all who loved him, they will remember him as the "superstar."

He leaves behind his spouse, Diane Perkins; his children, Kevin Montgomery and Kandi Montgomery; his stepsons Scottie (Amanda) Stephens and Chad Stephens; his grandchildren: Hugo Montgomery, Haley (Isaiah) VanArsdall, Troy Gowins, Chad Stephens, Emma Stephens, Jamisen Stephens, Khloe Stephens, and great-grandson Brewer VanArsdall; his brother and best friend, Jerry (Denise) Montgomery, and his sisters: Debbie Montgomery Claunch, Vickie Worthington, and April Fulton.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Carol King.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Guests are encouraged to wear Kentucky blue, bring photos, and share stories. In Kevin's honor, the family encourages everyone to remind the ones you love how much they mean to you.
