William "Billy" Arthur Hair, 73, of Junction City, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Born in Ellisburg on August 16, 1951, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Elsie May Turpin Hair.

Billy liked to ride horses and loved to camp when he was able. He enjoyed trading vehicles and spending time with grandchildren. Billy also liked flea markets, yard sales, Amish sales, and car shows in Pigeon Forge.

Billy is survived by his companion and best friend, Carol Hair; son, William "Tubby" Hair, III of Junction City; daughters: Katie (Jeff) Carrier of Lancaster, and Paige (Brad) Luttrell of Junction City; brother, Thomas (Brenda) Hair of Junction City; grandchildren: Brantley, Kase, Alyssia, Shawn, Nathan, and Cameron; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Hair of Nicholasville.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Hair.

Visitation is 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Tuesday at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Carrier, Nathan Carrier, Cameron Carrier, Freddie Greene, Clyde Greene, and Daniel McCowan. Honorary pallbearers are Henry McCowan, Ike McCowan, Bill McCowan. Brenda Cross, and Mary Hurst.
