William A. Griffin, Sr, 74, of Stanford passed away on September 7, 2021, at his residence.  Born November 15, 1946, he was the son of the late John and Tressie Denton Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna R. Griffin.  Survivors include sons, Robert Lee Griffin of Kansas and William A. Griffin, Jr. of Nicholasville; daughter, Judy Joseph of Kansas; brothers: Cecil Griffin of Stanford and Curtis Griffin of Hustonville; sister, Josephine King of Harrodsburg; and Ronnie Griffin of Junction City, who was raised by his parents and was like a brother; nine grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm, with Bro. Kenny Hooper officiating.  Burial is in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are David King, Gary Wayne King, Kevin Griffin, Jerry Fowler, Timmy Griffin, Harold Mullins, Adam Griffin, and Brandon Griffin.
