William E. "Don" Bell, 99, of Harrodsburg passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025.  Born March 1, 1926, he was the son of the late William Edgar "Willie" Bell and Grace Godbey Bell.

Don was a graduate of Moreland High School where he played basketball and was on the All-District Team.  He was a US Navy WWII Veteran, serving in the South Pacific. He enjoyed basketball, football, and baseball. He especially enjoyed following the Louisville Cardinals and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He retired from the Jewel T. Company where he was a route salesman for over half a century.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 77 years, Bonnie Ruth Livesay Bell; sister, Jo Ann Whelan; and brother, Robert Earl "Bobby" Bell.

Survivors include his 2 sons, Donald Bell and Ronald (Kimberly) Bell, both of Harrodsburg; sisters, Janet (Buddy) Cooper and Billie Terrell, both of Elizabethtown; and grandson, Cully Bell of Harrodsburg.

Visitation is 12-2 pm, Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm, Thursday with Bro. Joe Smith officiating.  Burial will be at Hustonville Cemetery.
