Fred Thomas "Tom" Rousey, 86, of Junction City went home to the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.  Born August 18, 1933, he was the son of the late Roy and Lena Rousey.  He was a farmer and a carpenter. Tom retired from Junction City Elementary School where he was Custodian and did maintenance work.  Tom also worked at Shakertown where he made brooms, buckets, and "hand-rived" tobacco sticks.  He was a gifted storyteller. He loved to tell stories to the children and visitors that came to Shakertown.

Tom is survived by two sons, Mark (Juanita) Rousey of Garrard County and Bryan Rousey of Junction City; daughter, Tammy (Rick) Henry of Junction City; five grandchildren:  Christy Rousey, Amber Nicole Padgett, Cayman Rousey, Zachary Henry, and Connie Rousey; and several great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, Frankie Rousey and three sisters:  Myrtle Graham, Margie Yates, and Lily Bradshaw.
