Thomas "Tom" Edward Thompson, 82, of Junction City passed away Friday, May 29, 2020.  Born August 8, 1937, he was the son of the late Samuel Bertram and Mary Catherine Knopp Thompson.  He was a US Army Veteran.

Tom is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wilma Lunsford Thompson; sons, Scott (Darra) Thompson of Gravel Switch and Kelly (DeeDee) Thompson of Danville; daughter, Kathy Thompson of Junction City; brother, Kenny (Nikki) Thompson of Junction City; grandchildren: Audrey Thompson, Ben Thompson, Kylee Thompson, Karson Thompson, Jennifer Gray, Cody Bates, and Miranda Hrapek; and 6 great grandchildren.  Tom was preceded in death by his brothers:  Charlie, Billy, and Henry and a great grandchild, Delia.

Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service is 11 am, Monday with Charlie Ellis officiating.  Burial is in Junction City Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Scott Thompson, Kelly Thompson, Kenny Thompson, Gregg Lunsford, Ben Thompson, Karson Thompson, and Cody Bates. Honorary pallbearer is Donald Coulter. Funeral Service is at 11 am Monday and will be live streamed on W.L.
