God called Theo Gabriel Wilson, 9 months old, home on Saturday, March 2, 2024.  Born June 1, 2023, he was the infant son of Eugene and Stephanie Marie Wilson of Hustonville.

Theo entered this world with a cry so soft. Weighing in at 1 pound 2.7 ounces, his resilience was unmatched.  He fought chest tubes, sickness, ventilators, blood gases, constant I.V.s, a trach, and g-tube...the list could go on and on. He quickly became known as experiment 626 and was a miracle twice over.  Even through his difficult journey, he would squeeze your finger so tight and give you his baby blue eyes melting you where you stood.   His gummy smile still goes unmatched as he could light up the room. His parents had to be very clever to capture his sweet smile on their phones as he was always on alert to avoid them. He quickly mastered the side eye, and his family loved it as much as they loved his smile. Theo was the strongest baby who fought the hardest fight with everything in him. He will forever be the biggest warrior to those who had the pleasure of loving him. Filling their hearts with more love than they ever thought possible, 626 will always live on.

In addition to his parents, Theo is survived by his brother, Eli Wilson; his sister, Willow Wylie; his paternal grandparents, George and Wilma Wilson; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00 -3:30 pm Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  A service celebrating his life will follow at 3:30 pm with Bro. David McRae officiating.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
