Sue Ann Lockaby Koon, 62, of Bronston, KY passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. Born in Jellico, TN on August 21, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Eva Rose Roller and Zenith Lockaby. She was a homemaker.

She loved her dogs, enjoyed gardening and raising chickens, and visiting Goodwill and flea markets. Sue especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her companion of over 20 years, Thomas "Pete" Peyton; daughter: Crystal (Timmy) Williams of Stanford; sisters: Caroline (Ronnie) Petrey, Patricia (Ronnie) Sparks, Cora Sparks, Sheila Kersey, and Diane Lockaby ; 7 grandchildren: Jake Koon, Shealy Bandy, Jacie (Nathaniel) Carman, Jared (Nikki) Williams, Trevor (Michelle) Wofford, Bailey (Kelsey) Wofford, and Lacie (Jeremy) Wofford; 9 great-grandchildren, uncle, Walter (Vivian) Rose, best-friend, Lucy Pemberton, and several cousins.

In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Koon, and daughter, Joyce Wofford.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 1 PM. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of the service. Bro. Lonnie Goodin will be officiating. Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery.
