Michael Steve Brown, 65, of Moreland passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.  Born May 1, 1955, he was the son of the late Clay "June" and Margaret Cook Brown.

Steve previously worked at Sargent Greenleaf in Nicholasville and at Red Wing Shoes.  Presently, he owned and operated Steve Brown Trash Service.  He was a member of Green River Pentecostal Church.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Susan Alexander Brown, who he married on April 23, 2010.  He is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Chris) Adams of Stanford; son, Mark (Laura) Brown of Stanford, sisters, Tammy (Johnny) Morgan and Mary Ann Brown, both of McKinney; brothers, Russell (Rita) Brown and Mike (Lidia) Yocum, both of Geneva; special brother-in-law, Paul Hines of Moreland; four grandchildren: Gracie Brown, Sarah Brown, Mason Brown and Chance Adams; and nieces and nephews:  Jennifer Brown, Jessie Kelley, and Johnathan Morgan.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Brown.

Visitation is 6-9 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service is at 1 pm, Wednesday with Bro. Rick Naylor officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Masks are required at funeral home and at cemetery shelter.  Pallbearers are Johnathan Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Mike Yocum, Marvin Wilson, Tim Thompson, and Mike Fair. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Brown, Dwight Mullins, Bobby Wilcher, Lonnie Brown, Paul Hines, and Alphas Yocum.
