Steve Stanley Benedict, 87, of Parksville passed away on February 10, 2026.  Born April 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Steve Shelby and Bessie Raney Benedict.  In addition to his parents, Steve was also preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Hampton Benedict; son, Terry Benedict; and sister, Audie Maddox.

Steve Stanley retired from Centre College where he worked in carpentry and as a painting supervisor.

Steve is survived by his sons, Stanley Steve Benedict of Columbia and Byran (Donna) Benedict of Parksville and step-grandchildren, John Paul (Erica) Blanton and Danielle (Freddie) Wells.
