Sammy Lynn Boyd, 60, of Hustonville passed away Monday, December 11, 2023.  Born February 11, 1963 in Danville, he was the son of the late Ruth Ann Belcher. Sammy was a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Sammy will be remembered as a selfless person who loved his family dearly.

Sammy is survived by his wife, Connie Hillard Boyd of Hustonville; daughter: Stacy Everett of Louisville; sister, Palena (Tony) Belcher of Lebanon;  brother, Jerry David Boyd of Perryville; 5 grandchildren: Kaila Bort of Sacramento, Morgan Cook of Lawrenceburg, Hunter Everett of Moreland, Hailey Ferguson of Albany, and Destiny Boyd of Hustonville; and 2 great-grandchildren: Lily and Parker Adkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Sammy Curtis Boyd; brother, Dale Boyd; and uncle, David Belcher.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held graveside Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Moreland Cemetery.
