Ronnie David Smith, 80, of Stanford, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Born in Danville on February 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Alvie Ray and Edna Louise Clem Smith.

Ronnie retired from Penn Ventilator after 36 years of dedicated service. He also worked in security for United Warehousing. Ronnie was a Freemason and avid wood worker.

Ronnie is survived by his sons: Ricky (Karen) Smith of Danville and Tony (Dawn) Smith of Junction City; grandchildren: Dylan (Amy) Smith, Christopher (Becky) Smtih, Cameron (Sam) Smith, and Nate Smith; and great grandchildren: Carson Reed Smith, Ezra Smith, and Eden Smith.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Smith, sisters: Jone Smith and Joann Williams; and brother, Alvie Jr. Smith.

Going Home celebration to be held Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 10:00am in Danville Memorial Gardens with Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow the service in Danville Memorial Gardens.
