Ronald Howard Goode, 81, of Butchertown passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Born March 21, 1939, he was the son of the late Howard Taylor Goode and Nellie Simpson Goode.

Ronald Goode was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a hard-working farmer all his life. He worked in custom hay baling, silage, picking corn, and hauling coal. As well as working at the Hester Feed Store and the Saufley Implement Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting various bird, deer, and rabbit and fishing.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Barbara Rousey Goode; son, Howard (Melissa) Goode of Casey County; daughters: Carol Taylor of Danville, Donna Goode of Moreland, and Cathy (Kenny) Dunn of Hustonville; brother, Jim Goode of Louisville; sisters, Lucille (Stanley) Vanoy of Hustonville and Pauline Hopkins of Lexington; grandchildren: Kenny Goode, Jamie (Chad) Baldock, Michael (Melody) Duncan, Tommy Goode, Ronnie Goode, Ryan Goode, Carrie (Cody) Brown, Cassie (Levi) Humes, Jonathan Ashcraft, Eli Dunn, Joseph Taylor, and Sara Dunn; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Joe Ellis, Joey Ellis, Kenny Dunn, Kenny Goode, Ryan Goode, and Levi Humes. Honorary pallbearers are all the grandchildren.
