Roger Dean Terry, 76, of Hustonville, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025. Born in Oneida, Tennessee on August 20, 1949, he was the son of the late Bill and Flora Phillips Terry.

Roger worked for Norfolk Southern. He loved fishing, farming, and working outside. He was very particular in the care of his yard, truck, and boat. Roger enjoyed training and riding horses. He was a big SEC football fan. Most of all Roger loved his wife, family and especially his grandchildren.

Roger is survived by his wife of 56 years, Debbie Gazay Terry of Hustonville; daughter, Holly Mullins of Danville; son, Roger Dean (Sherry) Terry, Jr. of Liberty: brothers: Mark (Mary) Terry and Wade (Teresa) Terry, all of TN; grandchildren: Austin Terry, Christopher (Shelby) Terry, Christin (Hunter) Pierce, Emily Cole, Bradley Cole, and Chase Cole; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Joe, Eddie and Lonas Terry.

Visitation is 11:00AM-1:00PM, Wednesday at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Terry, Bradley Cole, Greg Roberts, Steve Langford, Robbie Lowe, and Jason Cole.
