Robert Lee Pevley, 61, of Stanford died Tuesday June 8, 2021, at his residence.  Robert was the husband of Cindy Hager Pevley.  He was born Jan. 3, 1960 in Casey County to the late Joe Floyd and Barbara Sue Bowmer Pevley.  Robert was a self-employed tree trimmer and landscaper.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Chris Hager and Jamie Pevley, both of Danville; two brothers: Floyd and Jonathan Pevley, both of Junction City; three sisters: Barbara Wiechart of IN., Marcia Quinn of Junction City, and Jeanette Adams of Perryville.  Also surviving are three grandchildren: Jeremiah Pendygraft and Zadin and Oliva Pevley.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristin Danielle Pevley, and a brother, Ricky Lynn Pevley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at W.L. Pruitt Funeral home with Bro. Kelly Burchett officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Southfork Cemetery, Casey County. Active pallbearers will be Floyd and Jonathan Pevley, Thomas Quinn, James Wiechart, Briscoe Crain, and Chris Adams.
