Richard James Lotz, 84, of Lancaster passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025.  Born January 22, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Marguerite L. Bohanan Lotz.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister.

Richard was a "self-made" man, very matter of fact, and never one to procrastinate. He was an adventurous individual that liked sky diving and enjoyed flying single engine aircraft.   Richard liked the outdoors. He loved to ride horses, was a ranch hand at heart, and was a lover of golf.  He was a US Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Erline Reed Lotz; son, Robert W. (Venus) Baltimore of Arkansas; daughter, Jennifer Lotz of FL; brother, Father Bob Lotz of WI; and a granddaughter, Brianna.
