Phyllis Ann Becknell Muncy, 85, of Hustonville passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at her home.  Born in Nicholasville on July 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Geneva Becknell.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Arthur Bady Muncy; one son, Brent (Jennifer) Muncy of Greensburg; one daughter, Marla (Oscar) Beck of Danville; four grandchildren: Matthew (Casey) Edmiston of Richmond, Kate Edmiston of Perryville, Will Muncy of Springfield, and Molly Muncy of Richmond; two step-grandchildren: Ty and Trent Allen; and two great-grandchildren: Ren Heid and Macey Edmiston.

Visitation will be 10:30 am-12:30 pm Monday, April 10, 2023 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm with Bro. Johnny Collins officiating. The burial will be at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. For family and friends who may only attend the burial, it is scheduled for 2:30 pm. Pallbearers will be Brent Mundy, Oscar Beck, Matt Edmiston, Will Muncy, Marshall Carrier, John Glen Muncy, and Ren Heid. Honorary pallbearers will be Kate Edmiston and Molly Muncy.
