Peggy Aileen Douglas Lipscomb, 77, of Moreland passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022.  Born August 10, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ada Vaught Douglas.

Peggy loved working with ceramics and owned and operated Greenware Factory ceramic shop.  She also loved to read and enjoyed bookkeeping throughout her career.  Animals had a special place in her heart.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bill Lipscomb; son, Johnny Sheene of Stanford; daughter, Melissa Sheene of Danville; grandchildren, Zachary Sheene of West Virginia and Emily Sheene (Alberto Garcia Moreno) of Spain; stepchildren: Robert Lipscomb and Julie Lipscomb, both of Florida; 4 step-grandchildren: 3 step-great grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Phillips of Danville and Pauline Phillips of Junction City; brothers, Marshall (Wanda) Douglas of Junction City and Buddy (Linda) Douglas of Moreland; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service is at 1pm, Monday.  Burial is in Junction City Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Johnny Sheene, Butch Phillips, Ray Phillips, Allen Maddox, Brian Phillips, Dennis Douglas, Keith Phillips, and Travis Douglas.  Honorary pallbearer is Zachary Sheene.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
