Paula Gail Sears Derringer, 62, of McKinney, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025. Born in Stanford on October 17, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Irma Gail Carrier Sears.

Paula was a CNA and worked for the McKinney Rescue Squad. She loved her dogs, snakes, and Mtn. Dew.

Paula is survived by her husband of 18 years, Eugene Watson; son, Ransom Yocum of McKinney; daughter, Megan Pendergraft of Casey County, stepchildren: Hannah (Richard) Price, Lisa  Yocum, Cammy Yocum, and Brandi Yocum, all of McKinney: brother, James (Melissa) Sears of Yosemite, grandchildren: Little Ransom Yocum, Alexis Hall, and Chloe Hall; 9 step grandchildren; and 2 step great grandchildren.
