Paskell "Buddy" Dean Douglas, 71, of Moreland passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Born in Alum Springs on August 23, 1952, he was the son of the late Walter and Ada May Vaught Douglas.

Buddy loved the beach, carpentry, mowing, watching westerns, and UK Basketball. He was also a member of the local union 189.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda Dixon Douglas; sons: Dennis (Tina) Douglas, Travis (Lesa) Douglas, and Brandon (Kayla) Perry, all of Lincoln County; daughters, Jennifer (William) Gilpin of Eubank and Rhonda (Mike) Dick of Casey County; sisters, Pauline Phillips of Junction City and Elizabeth Phillips of Alum Springs; brother, Marshall (Wanda) Douglas of Junction City; grandchildren: Cody Stevens, Austin Stevens, Shane Dick, Rachel Stevens, Halie Dick, Tanner Perry, Gavin Douglas, Riley Douglas, and Shelbie Perry; and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Douglas; brothers: Walter, Jimmy, and Arvil Douglas; sisters: Judy Ryan, Ruby Lear, Hazel Wise, Dorothy Lamb, and Peggy Lipscomb; and his first wife, Cathy Whitis Douglas.

Visitation is 5:00-8:00 pm, Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gavin Douglas, Tanner Perry, Shawn Whitis, Arvil Douglas Jr,  Johnny Clay Sheene, and Eddie Dunn. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Dick and Shane Dick.
