Pamela L. Wesley, 64, of Salvisa passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. Pamela was born October 3, 1959, she was the daughter of Lee Kyle Bailey of Perryville and the late Patricia Bailey and Dr. David M. Wesley.
In addition to her father, Lee Kyle Bailey, she is survived by her brother, Doug Wesley and his wife, Terry of Danville; 2 nieces, Emily Paterson and husband, Braden of Fayetteville, AR and Rachel Gilkison and husband, Ty of Danville; 3 great-nieces: Callie Paterson, Alanna Gilkison, and Kelsey Gilkison; 2 great-nephews: Colton and Cooper Paterson; several cousins, and three cats, Cheeto, Romeo, and Phoenix who she spoiled like children.
In addition to her parents, Pamela was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Christopher Ryan Wesley; maternal grandparents, Delmer and Edith Coffman Tarter; paternal grandparents, Malcolm and Eula Baldock Wesley; and 3 uncles, Mont, John, and Bernarr Tarter.
Pamela was a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church where she had previously been a children's Sunday School teacher and was currently the adult ladies' Sunday School teacher.
Pamela had worked for 4 years with Bluegrass Community Action Partnership in Frankfort as a Senior Companion Program Assistant; as a Case Manager for Home Care program; and as Director of Woodford County Senior Center. She also worked for 18 years as the Clinical Coordinator and In-Home Director for Bluegrass IMPACT in Frankfort which served families with children with mental health needs and for 8 years in early childhood education.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Hopewell Baptist Church, Harrodsburg with a funeral service following at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Doug Wesley officiating. A private burial will be held Monday in Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville. Pallbearers will be Ty Gilkison, Braden Paterson, Dewayne Ryherd, Robert Shearer, Rodney Thompson, Bobby Grider, and Gerald Claunch.
