Norma Jean "Jeanne" Richards, 61, of Stanford, passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Born in Dayton, Ohio on July 5, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Bradley and Lucille Reed Miller.

Jeanne was a member of Freedom Baptist Church where she cherished her church family. She liked to care for others and worked as a CNA at Stanford House and more recently at Landmark of Lancaster. Jeanne loved animals, especially cats and dogs.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 31 years, William E. "Bill" Richards of Stanford; sister, Angie (Don) Bill of GA; brother, David (Tilda) Miller of Versailles; sisters-in-law: Cathy Richards of Perryville and Jennifer (Jamie) Pendergraft of Stanford; nieces and nephews: Shaunna Richards, Cody Richards, Jessica Singleton, and Josie Pendergraft.

Visitation is 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. Jeremy Pope and Bro. Jeff Bullens officiating. Burial will follow in Moreland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brad Padgett, Gary Padgett, Jamie Pendergraft, and Keith Kirkpatrick. Honorary pallbearers are Connie Padgett and Dwight Mullins.
