Newt C. Marlow, 90, of Mt Salem passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his residence.   Born August 22, 1930, he was the son of the late Edgar Howard "Trusty" and Mary Magdeline Burgess Marlow.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers: Lincoln Marlow, George Marlow, Edgar Marlow, JR, and Charles (Red Bud) Marlow and his sisters: Lena Mae Castle, Beatrice Tinsley, and Jewell Davidson.

Newt is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruby Coffman Marlow; son, Newt Anthony (Patricia) Marlow of McKinney ; daughter, Bunny League (Roger Patterson) of South Fork; six grandchildren: LeAnn (Chris) Siler, David League II, JR (Tarra) Marlow, Ben League, Andrea (Eric) Sowder, and John League; and eleven great grandchildren:  Dustin Siler, Courtney Siler, Kynnlee League, Kymberlynn League, Payton Marlow, Cooper Marlow, Carter Marlow, Austin League, Abbey League, Heidi Sowder, and Ethan Sowder.

Visitation is 12-2 pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm, with Rev. Chris Taylor officiating. Burial is in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers are John League, JR Marlow., Ben League, David League II, Austin League, and Dustin Siler.  Honorary pallbearers are Carter and Cooper Marlow, Ethan Sowder, Johnny Elliott, Roger Patterson, Chris Siler, and Brandon "Abe" Griffith.
