Nellie Faye Cowan Vaught, 88, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, in Danville, KY where she had been staying with her daughter.  Born July 1, 1934, Nellie was the daughter of the late Stephen and Bertha Dampier Cowan. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Marcus Vaught and 4 sisters.

Survivors include her son, Victor (Stephanie) Vaught of Florida; daughters: Vicky Venida (Butch) Peacock of Florida, Paula Marlene Vaught of Texas, and Darlene (Tony) Stephens of Danville; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
