Michael Ray Coontz, 45, of Hustonville passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024.  Born November 19, 1978, he was the son of Donald and Jennith D. Coontz of Hustonville. Michael loved dirt track racing where he was often a "winner".  He loved going to church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Michael was a kind-hearted and loving person.  He will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by two sisters, Rhonda Davis (Derrick Cooley) of Hustonville and Amanda (Eddie) Hasty of Stanford; paternal grandmother, Margaret Coontz of Hustonville; nephews, Dakota Coontz and Harley Davis; nieces, Alexus Leanna and Mia Oakley Cooley; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is 11am-2pm Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Paul Johnson officiating.  Pallbearers are Derrick Cooley, Eddie Hasty, Cruz Hasty, Earl Matherly (who was like an uncle), Joey Daniel, and Wes Smith.   Honorary pallbearers are Seph Hafley and Timmy Coontz.  Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.   A guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
