Melisa Gayle Cooley Hicks, 52, of Junction City passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.  Born March 17, 1972, she was the daughter of the late James Cooley and Marie Pike Hammons.  In addition to her parents, Melisa was also preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Bobby Young and Billy Young.

Melisa is survived by her husband, Chris Hicks of Manchester; son, James (Stella) Cooley of Stanford; daughter, Christina Patrice Cooley of Princeton; siblings: Randy Young of Lebanon, Tena Young of Lebanon, Wesley Young of Mobile, AL, and James Young of McKinney; 2 grandchildren, Sarah Pullum and Maddelyn Cooley.

Visitation is 5-7:30 pm, Monday, February 17, 2025, with a brief Memorial Service to follow at 7:30 pm.
