Mary Louise
Timberlake
Feb 10, 1939 — Feb 24, 2022
Moreland
Mary Louise Timberlake, 83, of Moreland passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2022. Born February 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John Davidson and Margaret James Woods Middleton.
Louise was the beautiful matriarch of our family. She was preceded in death by her first love, Elvis Presley, and a husband, Gregg Timberlake, that she shared four wonderful children with and lovingly referred to as "Skinny". To us grandchildren, she was known best as Nana pronounced "Nah Nah" which is fitting considering there was nothing ordinary and dull about her. She threw a little sparkle and red lipstick on everything she did.
Survivors include her son, William Greg (Victoria) Timberlake of Moreland; daughters, Cathy (Sonny) Evans, Carol (Shorty) Cox, and Nancy Sparks; grandchildren: Hannah (Cameron) Honaker, Courtney Hamilton, Chelsie (Dillon) Matthews, Josh Cox, Jessica Coffman, Devin Coffman, Blake Murphy, and Cruz Murphy; great-grandchildren: Mason and Zeke Matthews, Nora Kate and Mayhan Timberlake, Huxlee and Porter Honaker, and Miles Hamilton; and sisters, Deva Ramsey and Wanda Hale.
Louise loved manicures, filthy jokes, large cups of coffee in the sun, and most of all, her family. Even in her final days, she never lost her sense of humor. She could make fun of you and blow you a kiss in the same sentence and you'd immediately forgive her because she carried herself in a way that made people love her and because she never met a stranger. She constantly joked that she was on her way to Florida in which we would reply with "oh yeah?' And she'd say "Hell yeah! You didn't know?'' Her favorite place on earth was on the beach or with her hands deep in the dirt of her flower garden. She taught us the ropes of gardening, how to be highly inappropriate, and how to laugh at yourself and never stop smiling. She never missed a beat in life, and we guarantee you she isn't missing any in the afterlife. Though cancer took her from us far before we were ready, we find peace in knowing that she must have left with the angels willingly, and on her own terms because she never willingly done anything she didn't want to do, and we are confident that she would have told them to hit the door if she wasn't ready to make the flight. We will miss her dearly this summer while planting flowers. If you knew her, look for her in a sunrise, freshly watered summer flowers, or amongst the fluttering of the hummingbirds. We guarantee you that she's dancing somewhere in the sand and sun and giving heaven a little hell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Davidson and R.L. Davidson; one sister, Willene Walls; son, Gregg Timberlake Jr and grandson, Spencer Timberlake.
Visitation is 11-1 pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Fairview Baptist Church in Waynesburg. Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Shorty Cox, Josh Cox, Dillon Matthews, Devin Coffman, Sonny Evans, Blake Murphy, and Cameron Honaker.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Hope Food Pantry, 310 Young Drive, Stanford, KY 40484.
