Mary Ethel Parmley Polson, 85, of Moreland passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.  Born September 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late James and Ethel New Parmley.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Randall Polson; brothers, Harold and Danny Parmley; and sisters, Betty Wallen and Amy Parmley

Mary had worked at Palm Beach until it closed.  She retired from Hospital Specialty Factory in Nicholasville.  Mary enjoyed sewing, gardening, and raising flowers.  She loved her dogs and cats.

Mary is survived by a son, Gary Gene Polson of Moreland (Kathy Woodall of Stanford); brother, Victor (Darlene) Parmley of Frankfort; sister, Doris Adkins of Monticello; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with Rev. David Smith officiating.  Burial is at Parmley Grove Cemetery in Monticello.
