Mary Patre Leonard Dye, 84, of Hustonville passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Born in Casey County on June 29, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Jane Hill Leonard.

Mary loved the Lord and was a member of the Disciples of Jesus Christ Church in Danville. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her son, William Dye of Danville; daughters: Rosemary Buford of Danville, Regina (Wayne) Hockensmith of Frankfort, Lisa (George) Beasley of Lancaster, Melissa (Troy) Ballew of Danville; brothers: Bill Leonard of Danville and Ralph Leonard of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dye, daughter, Bonita Krampitz, brothers: Fred, Archie, Horace, and Daniel Leonard; one sister, Myrtle Harrison; and one grandchild, Anthony Gaines.

Visitation will be 10:30 am-11:30 am Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with Funeral service at 11:30 am. Minister Melissa Ballew will officiate. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.  Pallbearers will be Corey Beasley, Manual Reardon, Jordan Dye, Justin Dye, Jacob Dye, Joseph Dye, and Tony Hockensmith.
