Margaret Bernice Roberts, 93, of Lexington, passed away peacefully at Baptist Health on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1932, to the late Russell Jones and Violet Russell Jones.

Margaret enjoyed quilting, watching golf, and cheering on the University of Kentucky basketball team. Most importantly, she loved the Lord and found comfort in her faith. She loved a good joke and enjoyed laughing with those around her. She was known for her beautiful handwriting. She cherished time with her family and shared an especially close and devoted bond with her granddaughter, Ann Margaret, whose presence brought her great comfort and happiness. She was also deeply loved and cared for by her nephews, Eddie Rothwell Jr. and Keith Rothwell, and their spouses, Janet and Denise, whose kindness and support meant so much to her. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Michael Roberts.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Ann Margaret (Frank) Gaydovchik and LeeAnn (Aaron) Ellis; her great-grandchildren, Dr. Tyler (Ginny) Graul of Bristol, Tennessee, and Boone Ellis; and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Braswell officiating. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery.
