Lynda Jean Hodge, 73, of Parksville passed from this life on Friday, December 27, 2024, surrounded by family.  Born May 15, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Emil Ervin and Delpha Jean Pennington Ervin Flynn.

Lynda liked to read, especially the Bible. She attended First Apostolic Church in Danville. She enjoyed her flowers, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her love, Allen Lee Hodge; infant son, Billy Joe Hodge, Jr.; 2 infant siblings; brothers: Willie Ray Pennington, James Ervin, Brother D. Ervin, and Sonny Ervin; and sisters: Eve Layne, Delores Ervin, and Lou Venice Rue.

Lynda is survived by her sons: Scott Hodge of Lafayette, IN, Bud Hodge of Somerset, and Marty Hodge of Somerset; daughter, Anita (Tim) Flynn of Science Hill; sister, Barbara Ervin of Bellevue, NE; 3 grandchildren:  Autumn Flynn, Kendall Hodge, and Brooklynn Hodge; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Hustonville, KY.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm, Saturday with Bro. Wayne Naylor officiating.  Lynda will be laid to rest at Bethelridge Cemetery. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
