Hazel Lucille Terry Curtis, 91, of Danville passed away on July 8, 2025. Born in Oneida, Tennessee on March 22, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Area Newport Terry and Marion Terry.

She is a member of the Ephraim McDowell Hospital Auxiliary and Gethsemane Baptist Church where she attended the Open Door Sunday School Class. She loved spending time with her family.

Lucille is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne (Deryl) Curtis of Danville; daughter: Sandra Kay (Heiko) Berndt of Ohio; grandson: Bradley Wayne (Stephanie) Curtis of Moreland; and 6 great-grandchildren: Landon Curtis, Madison Curtis, Lee Robinson, Willow Curtis, Hunter Robinson, and Kaleb Robinson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Curtis; brother: Kenard Terry; and sisters: Helen Singleton, Melva VanHuss, Marion Steen, and Norma Caton.

A private Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2025, at Danville Memorial Gardens. Dr. J. Timothy Mathis will officiate.
