Lou Wilkerson, 81, of Danville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 5, 2021.  Born December 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lizzie Bottoms. She was also preceded in death by brothers:  Kenneth Lawson, Billy Lawson, and Arbor Bottoms.  Lou was a member of Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church.

Lou is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Andrew "Charlie" Wilkerson; children: Tammy (Sage) Cutler of Danville, Charles "Todd" (Marjorie) Wilkerson of Danville, and Tina (Robert) Duke of Meade County; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters: Ovie Helen Edwards, Mary Ann Thomas, and Norris Hardison; brothers: Terry Warner and Donnie Warner.

Visitation is 5-8 pm Thursday and after 11 am on Friday at Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church.  The funeral service is at 1 pm Friday with Bro. Travis Alltop officiating. Burial is in Danville Bellevue Cemetery.  Pallbearers are her great-grandsons: Jonah Cheak, Hunter Adkisson, Tyler Austin, Jackson Abrams, Jayce Matherly, Benjamin Chapman, Conner Patrick, and Waylon Price.  Honorary pallbearers are Senior Women of Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 1400 Bluegrass Pike, Danville, KY 40422.
