Lora Lee Lopez, 53, of Stanford passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Hospital.  Born in McCreary County on October 1, 1968, she was the daughter of Ronald and Wanda Koon of Junction City.

Lora enjoyed reading, listening to music, and spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children: David Lopez of Junction City, Ashley Lopez and Amanda (Mackienzie) Mitchell of Stanford, and Curstain (Seth Wheatley) Lopez of Lexington; brothers: Bryan Koon, Russell Koon, and Michael Koon; sister, Pamela East; grandchildren: Christian, Cara, Malik, Madden, Mila, and Taylor Ruth; and the father of her children, James Lopez, and family.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home at 4 p.m.  Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
