Lisa Renee Benedict, 53, of Moreland passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020.  Born September 12, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Delmar and Sarah Helen Byrd Benedict.

She is survived by her son, Chris Jackson of Danville; her companion of over 20 years, Stanley Penman of Moreland; sisters, Lillie White of Moreland and Kristy Benedict of Junction City; brother, Dale Benedict of Harrodsburg; and seven grandchildren: My'Kel, Ka'Mari, Kanyiah, Nevaeh, Saylor, Draven, and Sa'Raylin.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kayla Francisco, and brother, Barry Benedict.
