Lillie Mae Benedict White, 62, of Stanford passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Born in Danville on August 5, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Delmar Benedict, Sr. and Sarah Helen Byrd Benedict.

Lillie loved her family. She was full of life and never met a stranger. She had a "BIG" heart. Lillie also loved to cook and entertain others.

Lillie is survived by her daughter, Sara Ashley White (Wesley Gaffney) of Lancaster; son, Jon Derek (Ashley) White of Berea; sister, Kristy Benedict (Corey Young) of Boyle County; and grandchildren: Kinsley Tyler, Leighton Russell, Brinley White, and Benson Gaffney.

In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by her brothers: Barry Benedict and Delmar "Smo" Benedict, Jr.; and a sister, Lisa Benedict.

Visitation is Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 6:00pm with Jeanie Bailey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
