Lawrence "Mutt" Trailor, 95, of Stanford passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. Born in Jacktown on October 5, 1930, he was the son of the late Daniel "Buck" and Oma Cox Trailor.
Mutt was a lifelong farmer and gardener. He also faithfully served as sexton of Hustonville Cemetery for 17 years.
Mutt is survived by his daughter, Margaret Stephens of Stanford; sons: Cecil Trailor of Junction City and Johnny Mac (Bernice) Trailor of Stanford; grandchildren: David Bird, Jason Bird, Lawrence Stephens, Amy Acree, Amber Shelton, Ashley Phillips, Afton Parsons, Heather Folger, Brian Trailor, Devin Trailor; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mutt was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Robinson Trailor; brothers: Curt Trailor, Gene Trailor, and Mar "Preacher" Trailor; and sisters: Cleo Sears, Maydell Mullins, and his twin sister, Florence Trailor; daughter-in-law, Diane Trailor; and son-in-law, Don Stephens.
Visitation is 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2026, at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Dexter East officiating. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Bird, David Bird, Brian Trailor, Devin Trailor, Lawrence Stephens, and Andy Shelton.
