Kenneth Wayne Rothwell, 74, of Moreland passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025.  Born December 13, 1950, he was the son of the late Kenneth Eugene and Ethel Louise Wright Rothwell.

Kenny was a US Army veteran. He loved farming and camping.  He retired from Philips Lighting where he had worked as a mechanic for over 25 years.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Alma Pearl Wilson Rothwell; sister, Susan Rothwell Moran; and brother, Gary Eugene "Doc" Rothwell.  Survivors include his son, Gary Wayne (Rebecca) Rothwell of Moreland; sister, Robin (Mike) Allison of SC; and grandchildren: Jayde, Dakota, and Susan Rothwell.

Visitation is 5:00-8:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2025, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with Bro. Stacy Wilson officiating.  Pallbearers are Gary Wayne Rothwell, Keith Rothwell, Steve Clark, Jimmy Ellis, Sammy Rothwell, and Nathan Russell.  Honorary pallbearers are Sherill Walls, Glyn Southerland, Staff of Danville Centre for Health and Rehab and the Staff of Dialysis Center, Inc. "DCI".
