Kathryn Lee Thompson, 63, of Junction City passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024.  Born October 19, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Wilma Jean Lunsford Thompson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Delilah.

Kathy had worked as a registered nurse in home health.  She was a very gifted artist and loved to paint.  She liked poetry and birds and loved being a granny.

Kathy is survived by a son, John "Cody" Bates of Junction City; daughters, Jennifer Gray of Moreland and Miranda (Devin) Benge of Junction City; brothers:  Thomas Scott (Darra) Thompson of Gravel Switch and Kelly (DeeDee) Thompson of Danville; and grandchildren:  Claudia Padgett, Maggie Bates, Cooper Gray, Link Bates, and Beau Benge.
