June Buis Debruler Carmon, 78, of Frankfort died Friday, March 12, 2021, in Mackville. She was born April 4, 1942 in Casey County and was the daughter of the late Omer and Adell Phelps Buis. She was a homemaker and a member of The Christian Faith Center in Cynthiana. She was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Vertrese Burt Carmon, and her second husband, Robert Debruler; 4 children: Louis Jr., Carolyn Ann, and a set of twins; and 1 brother: Charles Louis Buis. She is survived by 6 sons: Donnie (Josephine) Carmon of South Point, OH; David Carmon of Frankfort, Daryl (Candi) Carmon of Corbin, Delbert (Alice Mauer) Carmon of Frankfort, James (Shell) Carmon of Stamping Ground, and Larry (Maggie) Carmon of Mackville; 2 daughters: Joyce Ann and Connie Carmon both of Frankfort; 20 grandchildren: Donny, Chris, Joey, Kimberly, Rebecca, Michelle, Ladonna, Kayla, Brandon, Bo, Gage, Cole, Logan, Dustin, Kelly, Brittany, Stephanie, Joshua, Olivia, and Camron; 30 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Pastor George Clifton. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday. Burial will be at Salyers Cemetery. Her sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
