Julie Mae Watson Whitis, 67, of Hustonville passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023.  Born October 8, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Edwin M. "Pete" and Russie Mae Followell Watson.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Watson; brother, Clyde Watson; and grandson, Gregory Austin.

Julie had previously worked at OshKosh and American Greetings.

Survivors include her significant other, Floyd Southerland; sons, Greg (Amy) Whitis of Knifley and Anthony (Sarah) Whitis of Moreland; brothers, David (Brenda) Watson of Erlanger and Donnie Watson of Gravel Switch; and five grandchildren:  Amber Lane, Ben Whitis, Jason Whitis, Annie Whitis, and Abby Whitis.
