Judith Carol Cole Phillips, 79 of Danville passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.  Born October 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Waldo Cole and Elizabeth Schlachter Howard.  Judy was a lifelong member of Junction City First Baptist Church.  She retired from the State of Kentucky Cabinet for Family Services.  She loved to quilt, was an excellent pianist and organist, and enjoyed spending time with her Thursday "card group".  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roy Lee Phillips; son, Jeffrey (Melanie) Phillips of Lexington, SC; daughter, Cheryl (LeeRoy) Hardin of Danville; grandchildren: Joshua Phillips, Jeremy (Chelsea) Hardin, Cameron (Tiffany) Winchester, Tanner Hardin, and Haley Phillips; and great grandchildren, Kain and Elizabeth.
