James Riley "JR" Lynn, 85, of Stanford passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024.  Born January 27, 1939, he was the son of the late LeeRoy and Elvie Vaught Lynn.

JR was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Sparkman Lynn; sons, Jerry Lynn and James Lynn; a grandson, Michael Lynn; a brother, Bobby Lynn and a sister, Lillian Parr.

He is survived by brothers, Danny (Bernice) Lynn of Danville and Chris Lynn of IN; sisters:  Nancy Wilson of Danville, Marie Paul of Stanford, and Lorraine Shannon of Louisville; grandchildren, Amanda Lynn (Bryan King) and Ki Lynn (Christy Hinton) of Bardstown; stepdaughter, Nicole Berumen; and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Friday at Junction City First Baptist Church.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm, Friday with Dr. Choe Sergent officiating. Pallbearers are Jeff Lynn, Ronnie Lynn, Justin Wilson, Mike Wilson, John Wayne Wilson, and David Lynn. Burial is at Poplar Grove Cemetery. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
