Jonell Fenwick Griffin, 78, of Moreland passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024.  Born April 5, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Dudley Fenwick and Nellie Kathryn Barnett Fenwick.

Jonell loved to go dancing and she never met a stranger.  She lived her life "her way"!  Most importantly, she knew Jesus and she's gone home to be with him.

Jonell is survived by 2 daughters, Kathryn Lynn Henson of Prestonsburg and Christy Marie (Eddie) Griffith of Moreland; 2 sons, Joseph Robert (Jeannie) Hafley of Burgin and Michael Wayne (Jessica) Hafley of Moreland; 3 step-children: Carolyn Carlton, Frances Walker, and Joe Sears; 6 grandchildren:  Kristin Hafley (Cody Estes) of Crab Orchard,  Nicole Griffith (Bill Rankin) of Harrodsburg, Cody Hafley of Lexington, Tyler Griffith of Moreland, Heather Hafley of Manchester, and Dylan Hafley of Moreland; and 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jonell was preceded in death by husbands, Bobby Hafley, Wilbert Sears, and Gary Griffin.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Wednesday at W.L Pruitt Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm, Wednesday officiated by Bro. Brad Padgett.  Pallbearers are Eddie Griffith, Brian Stigler, Bill Rankin, Tyler Griffith, Cody Estes, and Brian Shelton.  Burial will be at Moreland Cemetery.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
