Johnnie Goodin, 69, of Moreland passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.  Born January 30, 1954, he was the son of the late William G. and Virginia Bray Goodin.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother.

Johnnie was a member of Worldstown Church of God.  Attending church and worshiping the Lord was very important to him. He loved life and loved people and especially liked to make others laugh.  Johnnie loved farming and spending time outdoors.  He enjoyed spending time with his son and grandsons and liked to take them fishing and camping.  His family meant everything to him. Johnnie was a graduate of Hustonville High School, Class of 1974.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ruth Ann Hampton Goodin; son, Jeffrey Dean (Jenny) Goodin of Hustonville; brothers:  Paul (Clara) Goodin of Junction City, Wade (Margaret) Goodin of Indiana, Robert (Karol) Goodin of Kansas, and Lonnie (Becky) Goodin of Danville; and his grandsons: Isaiah and Tristan Goodin.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Monday at Worldstown Church of God.  Funeral Service will be at 11am, Tuesday at the church with Rev. Lonnie Goodin officiating.  Pallbearers are Kelly Burchett, Kenny Hampton, Kenny Stamper, Robert McCowan, Dennis Duck, and Joe Powell.  Honorary pallbearer is Conrad Hicks.
