John Gilmer Vaught, 66, of Hustonville passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.  Born October 12, 1954, he was the son of the late Samuel and Effie Gilmer Vaught, Jr.  He was a US Army National Guard Veteran. John had worked at ATR until its closure, retired from American Greetings, and was currently working part-time at Advance Auto Parts.  He enjoyed building model cars and spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Tammy Parker Vaught; son, Jonathan (Misty) Vaught of Waynesburg; daughter, Dara Vaught of Hustonville; brother, Michael Vaught of Danville; sister, Lynda (Virgil) Elliott of FL; and nine grandchildren.
