Jeffery Lee Wright, 65, of Hustonville passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born August 30, 1960 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Walter Wright and Margaret Blakey Moore.

Jeff enjoyed playing basketball with his buddies.  He also liked to hunt for arrowheads. He was very friendly and had a giving heart.  To know Jeff was to love him!

Jeff is survived by his wife of 46 years, Van Terri Karnes Wright; daughter, Cherie Farney (Shane Clark) of Harrodsburg; 4 sisters, Sydney Anderson, Heather Wright, Tina Mullins, and Anita Watts; 4 brothers: Rick Wright, Keith Wright, Christopher Wright, and Brian Sager; grandchildren, Brian Taylor Farney and Kevin Michael Farney; great-granddaughter, Emersyn Joy Farney; and his caregiver, Angie Tharp.

Jeff's wife, Van Terri Karnes Wright passed away on December 10, 2025.  A funeral for both, Jeff and Terri, will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 4:30 pm at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Terri's brother-in-law, Bro. Mark Lile will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2:30-4:30 pm.  Burial will be private for both at Moreland Cemetery.
