Janice Ann Walker Andrews, 71, of Danville passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Born May 24, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Robert Walker and Louise Brown.

Janice retired from America Greeting after 28 years. She loved playing bingo, taking walks, and spending quiet moments on her porch in the warm sunshine - times that brought her comfort and happiness. Her laughter, strength, and big heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Janice was also preceded in death by a son, Robert "Kojack" Thornton; and brothers: Bobby, Donald, Larry, and Clark Walker.

Janice is survived by her son, Michael (Monica) Thornton of Danville; daughters, Anita Jones of Lexington and LaDonna Thornton of Nicholasville; sister, Katherine Berry of Danville; 5 grandchildren: Devairo Whitehead, Evasion Whitehead, Zachary Thornton, Nilaya Jones, and Keaira Thornton; 11 great-grandchildren: Claira Thornton, Heaven Whitehead, Nevaeh Whitehead, Keontae White, Jacelynn Parks, Amiyah Parks, Zykeeri Whitehead, Vadyn Whitehead, Cleobella Whitehead, Jaciona Whitehead, and Zay'Veon White; and many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Per her request, Janice's funeral service will be for her family only. Burial will be at Hilldale Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Clifford Berry, Mario Berry, Donald Walker, Clark Walker, Demarco Prewitt, Paul Wilkerson, and Tres Walker.
