Jamie Mae "Meme" Young Manuel, 54, of McKinney passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Born in Somerset on March 4, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louanna Walls Young. Jamie was a member of Green River Pentecostal Church. She worked at Stanford House as a housekeeper. Jamie enjoyed riding on the back of Bryan's Harley and loved to play, sing, and dance with her grandchildren. Jamie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bryan Keith Manuel of McKinney; daughter, Tori Manuel (Noah Owens) of McKinney; son, Ethan Manuel of Louisville; sister, Debbie (Jim) Reed of McKinney; GuhGuh's two grandchildren: Raylen and Greyson Owens; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jamie was preceded in death by her infant sisters, Gladys Marie and Glenda Rose Young and a brother, Charles Lee Young. Visitation is 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Monday, March 10, 2025, at Green River Pentecostal Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Green River Pentecostal Church with Bro. Rick Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in Bastin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hines, Canaan Dawson, Tommy Johnson, Dustin Spears, Chris Allen, Braden Dawson and Johnny Ray Walls.
