James Edward Schmiers, 63, of Stanford passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021.  Born December 28, 1957, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary Ellen Schmiers.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alma Schmiers, and two daughters, Adriel Marie Schmiers and Helen Mae Schmiers.  James is survived by one brother, John Lewis Schmiers of Lexington, and two sisters, Josephine Hodge of Crab Orchard & Dawn Hodge of Crab Orchard.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
